Project Central

IT Project Planning often experiences the following pain points:

Changing technology features and requirements
Relying on Solutions Architect memory to determine expected level of effort
Incorporating prior lessons learned into future projects

As clients expect greater choice, convenience, and flexibility, having a Solutions Architect draft an IT Project Plan from scratch is no longer the best approach. AIS developed ProjectCentral to satisfy increased expectations utilizing the following three-step approach:

1

Categorize

Select a Project Category

Examples: Cloud Migration, Firewall Implementation, Office Move

2

Qualifications

Answer Qualification questions

Qualification questions help determine required level of effort

3

Select an Engagement Type

Fixed Fee, Block Hours, or Time & Materials

199,882,650 unique Scope of Work combinations are possible using the AIS Project Central.

Start your Project with AIS. We begin by clarifying the customer's needs and placing them in a SOW (Statement of Work). The Implementation Type is a collection of related Implementation Guidelines, that can be used to define a Project / Service that AIS can provide. Implementation Guidelines are templates that define the Implementation Tasks, Products, Services, and Service bundles needed to complete a portion of a Implementation Type. Implementation Tasks can be thought of as the steps needed to be completed, in order to fully implement its associated Implementation Guideline. The Requirements identify either information that is needed or a condition that needs to be checked in order to perform a Task.

This allows for the automated creation of a checklist to be used for Onboarding that is customized based on the Implementation Types and related Tasks for each SOW created in Project Central.

1. Select a Project Category

There are 3 Categories that you can choose: Managed Services, Consulting, and AIS Labs. Go to Solutions to learn more
