DHCP Database Error

AIS Monitoring Platform has discovered DHCP database error. This indicates Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) database is corrupt. If the DHCP server database becomes corrupted or is lost, recovery is possible by replacing the server database file.

DHCP Multiple DHCP Servers In Domain

AIS Monitoring Platform has discovered that there are multiple DHCP servers on the network. When configured correctly and authorized for use on a network, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) servers provide a useful administrative service. However, a misconfigured or unauthorized DHCP server can cause problems. If an unauthorized DHCP server starts, it might begin either leasing incorrect IP addresses to clients or negatively acknowledging DHCP clients that attempt to renew current address leases.

DHCP Backup Failed

AIS Monitoring Platform has discovered that the DHCP backup failed. Maintaining a backup of the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) database protects you from data loss in the event of data corruption or a hard disk failure.

DHCP Database Maintenance Required

AIS Monitoring Platform has discovered that the DHCP Database Maintenance is required. There is no built-in limit to the number of records that a DHCP server can store. The size of the database depends on the number of DHCP clients on the network. The DHCP database grows over time as a result of clients starting and stopping on the network. Over time, as some DHCP client entries become obsolete and are deleted, some unused space remains.

DHCP Is Not Authorized

AIS Monitoring Platform has discovered that the DHCP server is not authorized and will not assign any IP address to the client.

DHCP Scope Full

AIS Monitoring Platform has discovered that the DHCP scope is full and the server will not allow new IP adress. The scope in use is full and can no longer lease addresses to requesting clients.

DHCP Server Unreachable

AIS Monitoring Platform has discovered that the NetDiag Autonet address test failed with error DHCP Server Unreachable. This issue occurs because of a problem with the DHCP Scope Wizard.

DHCP Service Server Encountered The Error When Backing Up The Database

AIS Monitoring agent has detected error when backing up the database.Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) database protects you from data loss in the event of data corruption or a hard disk failure. Impact : Data may be loss in the event of data corruption or a hard disk failure.

DHCP Service Server Encountered The Error While Cleaning Up The Database

AIS Monitoring agent has detected the DHCP service encountered the error while cleaning up the database. Database integrity refers to the ability of the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) database to function properly, maintaining an uncorrupted state. Impact : DHCP server database becomes corrupted or is lost.

DHCP Service Server Is Not Bound To Static IP Address

AIS Monitoring agent has detected that the DHCP not bound to static IP. The correct configuration of a static interface is required. Impact : Server that is not bound to an IP address cannot lease IP addresses, or any other network configuration, to DHCP clients.

DHCP Service Server Was Unable To Create Or Lookup The DHCP Administrators/Local Group On This Computer

AIS Monitoring agent has detected the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) service must be able to create or look up the DHCP Users and DHCP Administrators/Local groups. Impact : DHCP service will not be able to create or look up the DHCP Users and DHCP Administrators/Local groups.
