AIS Monitoring Platform found Media error. Please insert overwritable media into the drive or Please insert media into the robotic library by creating an Import media job. Cause : If the media in the drive is not overwritable, the above alert is displayed requesting the user to insert overwritable media in to a tape drive. Another reason for this alert is when the backup is spanning onto another tape. When the backup spans to another media,it prompts for an Overwritable Media to continue backing up the resource(s). Impact : Data will not be backed up.

Please Remove The Media From The Drive And Respond OK (Symantec/Veritas)

AIS Monitoring Platform found that Media is Full and cannot be appended to OR overwrite protected OR alert is not responded or Please remove the media from the drive and Respond OK. Cause 1. Some Devices do not support Backup Exec command to eject the tape even though the option to eject the tape after job completes is selected. For devices that support this command make sure Automatic Response to media alerts is configured. 2. Media is Full and can not be appended to OR Media is overwrite protected OR Media Remove alert is not responded . In such case(s) Backup Exec will prompt the Insert overwritable media alert followed by Media Remove Alert. Impact: The Data Backup will not be completed.

The Backup To Disk Device Is Out Of Free Space (Symantec/Veritas)

AIS Monitoring agent has detected that the disk volume where the Backup-to-Disk device resides is out of free space. Cause : There is a possibility there is no writable media / out of free space in the media / removal of media is required. Impact : Data will not be backed up.

This alert condition indicates that a Symantec Backup Exec job failed.

Veritas Weekly Backup Has Failed To Execute

This alert condition indicates that a Symantec Backup Exec weekly backup job failed to execute. The IntelliMon agent relies on the job configuration details entered in the ITSPortal > RMM Setup > Monitoring > Symantec Backup Exec page.
