Remote Desktop Services RD Session Certificate Will Expire Soon

This alert condition indicates that Remote Desktop Session certificate will expire soon. Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 enhances the security of Terminal Services sessions by providing server authentication and by encrypting terminal server communications. The terminal server and the client computer must be correctly configured for clients to make successful remote connections and for TLS to provide enhanced security. For example, a certificate is needed to authenticate a terminal server when SSL (TLS 1.0) is used to secure communication between a client and a terminal server during Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) connections.

Terminal Server Failed To Load/Unload The User Profile

This alert condition indicates that the Terminal Server failed to load/unload the user profile. Users will be unable to log on or will receive a temporary profile.

Terminal Server Printer Redirection Problem

This alert condition indicates that there is an issue with the Terminal Server Printer Redirection. Users will face issues in printer mapping. Windows 2000 Terminal Services and Windows Server 2003 Terminal Services support the automatic redirection of printers that are configured to use local ports (such as LPT1, LPT2, or LPT3) on computers that have open client sessions through the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) 5 client. This printer redirection occurs by default at logon. When a client logs on, the Windows 2000-based server or the Windows Server 2003-based server checks the name of the printer driver on the client and looks for the same printer driver name in the Ntprint.inf file. If the name of the driver is not found, the printer is not redirected.

Terminal Server The Server Is Too Busy

This alert condition indicates that the Terminal Server is too busy This behavior can occur if the client is attempting to connect to an IP address that does not belong to the Terminal Services computer. The Terminal Services client may attempt to connect to a different IP address, if a different IP address is returned for the address of the Terminal Services computer during the name resolution process.

Terminal Server Too Many IDLE Sessions

This alert condition indicates that there are too many IDLE sessions on the Terminal Server. This will affect server performance.
