IIS Terminates Unexpectedly Under High Stress

AIS Monitoring Platform has discovered that the Internet Information Server (IIS) 6.0 hosts many application pools, the Inetinfo.exe process terminates unexpectedly under high stress. When this problem occurs, you receive this error message. This problem occurs because of an issue in the Coadmin.dll file. The cleanup code for the initialization of IIS configuration metadata is not thread safe. Therefore, the Web server can encounter a race condition under heavy stress. The race condition causes heap corruption in the Inetinfo.exe process.
