Telemarketer / Cold Caller
The Telemarketer is responsible for acquiring new business prospects via cold calling of small to medium businesses, local municipalities, school districts and healthcare providers. This position develops leads, contacts prospects, and makes appointments for the Sales team.
Skills Required:
- Driven to meet and exceed established activity and quota goals.
- Obtains appointments through strong telephone and interpersonal skills in a professional manner
- Maintains a contact database, activity reports and appointment logs
- Understanding of company products and services relating to information technologies
- Participates in training programs and interoffice conferences relating to telemarketing
- Performs other duties assigned by the Sales Manager
Education:
High school graduate minimum requirement
Experience:
Telemarketing and/or IT experience a plus
Understanding of Microsoft office
Compensation:
TBD based on experience. Plus commission for number of appointments set
Full time or Part time position available
